Author's Note: I wasn't too enthusiastic about sharing irrelevant and completely nonsense contents of my dreams. But then, my husband helped me realize that dreams are not something that we can control. This probably happens to so many other people as well. So, I decided to unabashedly pen down the weird wiring of my subconscious and share it with the world. God help me! :)

The moment I opened my eyes, I knew something was not right! As I looked around me, I realized that I was seated in the economy class of a Boeing 747, with no idea where I was headed. The realization sent my nerves into a spin, this was going to be an international trip! I tried to calm down, thinking about my passport, visa (whether I had it on me) and wondered where I was headed. I looked to the next seat and found my husband, blissfully asleep, and I relaxed. At least I was not in on this alone!! A brief glance in all directions gave me a jolt. My co-passengers included my best friend (who coincidentally shares my name too, so lets call her Ittu!), her infant daughter Shivani and guess what?! Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan!!
While I was still coming to grabs with the situation, Shivani started crying all of a sudden. Turns out her daddy had missed the flight and she was missing him. As mellow cries slowly rose to vociferous shrieks, Kareena asked me (Yes!!!) if I would like to accompany her in Business Class. In that one moment, I forgot about everything else and agreed!! But strangely, Business class seemed to have only 2 seats, so Saif had to stay back in Economy, to which he grumpily agreed. My husband had described his Business class experience to me once, and so here I was, all excited for my first experience. I peeked through and was aghast at what I saw. The 2 seats in Business class were fancy designer toilet seats!!
Weird just became weirder as Kareena nonchalantly took her place on one seat coolly and ordered a beer for both of us. Being polite and courteous, I obliged, only to realize that I have never had beer before in my life. Thankfully, the plane landed in ten minutes and I didn't have to go through with it.
As the passengers alighted one by one, I realized that we were in Noida. I was thrilled that I would be meeting my parents soon. But as soon as I stepped out of the airport, I noticed that I had walked into a school. Turns out, we had come to admit Shivani to Apeejay School, Noida. To make situations even more bizarre, I bumped into the HR of my previous company who was accompanied by a teacher from my good old school!! As I was happily chatting with the 2 of them, I suddenly realized that Ittu and Shivani were not by my side. I ran towards the tarmac and found that the plane I arrived in was taking off... Without me!!!
I started running as the huge plane elegantly rose from the runway... and crashed into a small lake just behind my house!! Horrified, I broke into a sprint, trying to reach the lake as fast as possible and what I saw left me completely bewildered. Amid the debris of the crash, I saw the passengers, including my husband and the others, alive and kicking, unscathed and unfazed, as if nothing happened!!
I couldn't help but smile and feel happy for all of them. But my happiness was short-lived as a loud noise broke out in our vicinity. Before I could grasp what the disturbing noise really was, my eyes opened for the 2nd time that night, only to find my alarm clock blaring into the night!! :)
